Linking ancestors to descendants

HHDW family are linked by the children of Elizabeth (Betty) Hadley and her three spouses: (1) William Prince Hawthorne, (2) William Dickey and (3) Jerry Walden Sr.; In addition, Betty is the daughter of (slaveowner) Simon Hadley and his slave mistress. Betty is also the sister of (slave) Richard Hadley 1822-1910 . Descendants of Simon Hadley Sr. 1760-1835, his many children, including Simon D. Hadley 1790-1867 (slaveowner), share a genetic bloodline to the HHDW.
